Samsung Galaxy A9 Pro to be released in India for 32.5K [5000 mAh]


Samsung recently unveiled its new device, they call it Galaxy A9 pro. The A series or Alpha series of Samsung is been doing good in the market. Until Xiaomi and OnePlus released their budget beasts. With that, Samsung had a struggle with the A series, because of which the J series was introduced. But now Samsung wants to keep up with the A series in their line-up.


Galaxy A9 Pro has the most powerful specs compared to other devices in A series. It is similar to the Galaxy A9 with a better camera, better RAM and Buttload of battery backup. Well, I hope it does not explode :p, I’m just kidding. The device is powered by a Qualcomm MSM8976 Snapdragon 652 Chipset. It is basically a powerful chipset with 8-cores of CPU. 4 of its cores are clocked at 1.8 GHz Cortex-A72 and the other 4 are clocked at 1.4 GHz Cortex-A53. It is a pretty powerful chipset and when combined with 4 GB of RAM, your device wouldn’t stay behind in performance.

The device features a 6 Inch Super AMOLED HD display. With a screen resolution of 1080×1920 pixels and 367 PPI pixel density. It is protected by the Corning Gorilla Glass 4. A9 Pro runs on Android Marshmallow 6.0.1 Operating System with the traditional TouchWiz UI. It packs a huge 5000 mAh battery to juice up your device and for long multitasking or gaming. It gets even better because it has fast charging feature in it.


It features a 16 MP rear camera with an aperture of f/1.9 and Optical Image Stabilization (OIS). There is also an 8 MP front facing camera with the same f/1.9 aperture. It can record videos in 1080 up to 30 FPS. The Phone also features a fingerprint scanner, Dual 4G LTE sim slots, Adreno 510,  and 32 GB internal storage [expandable up to 256 GB].

Comparing it with the Samsung Galaxy A9, the A9 Pro has a bigger battery of 5000 mAh compared to 4000 mAh battery in A9. RAM has been upgraded from 3 GB to 4 GB for better multitasking. A9 Pro has a 16 MP rear camera compared to the 13 MP camera n the Galaxy A9. The looks of these two devices remain unchanged.

The new Samsung Galaxy A9 Pro will be available in Gold, Black and White colour variants. The device will be priced at Rs. 32,490 (about 485$) and the device will be available to buy in India from September 26th.
